Jared Sprague studied lapidary arts at North Carolina State University. He is a member of the United States Facetors Guild and recently won a Bronze Medal award in their annual Faceting Competition, and plans on entering every year until master. Jared says about faceting:

“What I love about faceting is all the symbolism. From taking something rough and dull and making it gleam and sparkle by grinding and refining it, to the beauty that the earth gives us that can be held in your hand or worn.“
