Arrowhead-Shaped ‘Concave Brilliant’ Cut Citrine
The material is a unique find from Bolivia that is actually quite earthy in its color… not smoky, not orangy… an earthy brown with warm orangy undertones.
This is my pre-history anthropology minor showing up here! No particular culture in mind, but, I have always been intrigued by the artistry of flint knapping stone tools like arrowheads… so here you go!
All the scallops are cut on both the crown and pavilion so the girdle edge is quite normal and the gem is not difficult or dangerous to set at all. The material is a unique find from Bolivia that is actually quite earthy in its color… not smoky, not orangy… an earthy brown with warm orangy undertones. I love everything about it!
