Emerald-Shape Concave ‘Wafflecone’ Cut Ametrine

This gem was cut from an intensely bi-color crystal with a good demarcation… but rather than doing a traditional step cut as is usually done on such bi-colored gems….

I employed my trademarked ‘wafflecone’ pattern to the table which really adds a lot of mystique and optical playfullness to the gem! This a great design that can be employed on just about any material and so perfectly suited to long emerald cuts or baguettes.
