Round ‘Concave Nautilus’ Cut Citrine

First Place Award Winning design!! As most winning designs, it is more complicated than it looks and its appeal is in its simply elegant lines and optics. Concave faceted in my inimical way…then concave faceted with 3 concave concentric rings (which takes supreme hand to eye coordination and feel); the curvature and depth of these concave concentric rings then optically distorts the pavilions radial facets and makes them twist in a way very reminiscent to the spiral of a nautilus shell. Innovative, glorious, and difficult to do but worth it!!

This design can be done with 2 or more concentric rings depending on gem size.
