Round ‘Concave Scalloping Brilliant’ Cut Pink Tourmaline

This gem was specifically designed and cut for a client’s jewelry design. The scallops are not thick as in the cleft of a heart shape, but rather, precisely cut on both the crown and pavilion to yield a proper girdle thickness that permits a safe and easy prong setting…the tips are slightly round for safety too!

A great scintillating cut in a unique and complex shape that screams to you from across the room! A design that only works, obviously, in larger material that permits so many scallops.
