A strong yet very aesthetically appealing shield shape ideally suited to a pendant permitting innumerable setting designs! The brilliance and shape of this cannot be attained with flat facets!
And the scallop is NOT like that of the cleft in a heart shape. The scallops are perfectly concave faceted on both crown and pavilion to yield a normal girdle thickness and add to the gems brilliance.
