2nd Place Specially Cut category 2010 Gemmys award 62.41 x 19.68 x 13.04 mm, 127.82 ct Champagne, Smokey, Brazilian Quartz.

It takes a lot of skill and a steady hand plus plenty of time to cut and polish all the tiny concave facets, a reason that it took over 40 hours to cut and polish the entire stone. I had to create all tools myself before I could even begin with cutting the gem as there are no existing tools that could do the job.
